CM Punk WWE Wrestler

Phillip Jack "Phil" Brooks (born October 26, 1978), better known by the ring name CM Punk, is a former American professional wrestler and mixed martial artist. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he is "the WWE Champion longest modern era reign" (from 1474 reign days of Hulk Hogan ended in 1988), having held the title for 434 days from 20 November 2011 to 27 January 2013. Punk reign is officially recognized as the longest sixth of all time.

 
Punk won several world championships during his 15 year career as a professional wrestler, including Championship ROH World Championship and ECW World Championship once each three times the World Heavyweight Championship WWE and WWE twice. He won the championship tag team in the world and the WWE Intercontinental Championship, becoming the 19th Triple Crown Champion in WWE and the fastest man in WWE history to accomplish this feat in 203 days. He was twice world champion ROH Tag Team. Punk also won the 2008 and 2009 Money in ladder matches Bank and superstar 2011 Year Slammy Award in WWE.

Punk initially came to prominence through his career in professional wrestling independent circuit in the United States, mainly as a member of the Ring of Honor (ROH) roster, where he was also the first head coach of the ROH wrestling school . In 2005, he signed a contract with WWE and was sent to its developmental promotion, Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW), where he won every championship available in the promotion. In June 2006, Punk made his TV debut in the WWE, ECW acting, which was then a branch of the WWE. In 2008, he to the main event scene rose in the main WWE roster and remained in accessory company until his acrimonious departure in 2014. Despite its importance within the company, Punk never put the WWE Title premier annual event pay-per-view, Wrestle Mania, which became a source of professional dissatisfaction.
