Younger men have a thing for Jennifer Lopez — both on screen and off.

In the upcoming thriller The Boy Next Door, Lopez stars as Claire, a recently divorced teacher who falls for her much younger neighbor, Noah (played by Ryan Guzman).

In the clip above, exclusively on Yahoo Movies, the barely legal Noah makes a move on Claire like a veteran ladies man, offering her a rare copy of The Iliad and complimenting her looks (instead of her shoes). Ultimately, however, their relationship takes a dark turn.

Does Lopez’s art imitate life? A bit. The 45-year-old performer and self-professed “love addict” has defended her past relationship with Casper Smart, 20 years her junior. “We are desirable older, we can date younger guys and it’s not this big taboo,” Lopez recently told Selfmagazine. “Men have been doing this for years, and it’s no big deal.”

Lopez also admitted she relates to her character in Boy. "I've dated a younger guy once in my life," she said, referring to Smart, with whom she split in June. The entertainer, who is single at the moment, added, "I could definitely understand that part, too — the attraction."

You can see if J.Lo’s fictional attraction is of the fatal variety when The Boy Next Door hits theaters Jan. 23.

After making a film about a woman 20 something that tries to avoid adulthood has Frances Ha writer / director Noah Baumbach returns with a film about a couple of 40 something trying a few decades back.

Check out the first trailer for While we are young, a comedy that has some serious star power, including Greenberg stars Ben Stiller.

Fortunately, Stiller is not as grumpy as the title character in 2010 acclaimed dramedy Baumbach, perhaps because he is married to Naomi Watts and reaches out with that quintessential Brooklyn cool, Adam Driver, and his wife on the screen, Amanda Seyfried.

In The Heart Of The Sea Trailer 2015

Between battles with Loki, Thanos and Ultron, Chris Hemsworth traded his Nordic super-god costume for 19th century sailor garb and a battle with a giant whale.

The Thor star is also latest muse of Ron Howard, who played in the 2013 Formula One drama Rush, and now, playing first mate Owen Chase in the next ocean disaster movie in the heart of the sea.

Based on the true story that inspired Herman Melville's Moby Dick, second trailer for the film has above Hemsworth looking dreamy and determined as he fights a sperm whale plowing in his ship, the Essex. As he makes clear, he is not afraid of the deep sea-monster, that is so great that it comes on the boats as an earthquake rolls through the waves.

Cillian Murphy and Benjamin Walker co-star in the film, which looks at a rollicking adventure that will be a lot more fun if you do not already know how it ends (so, think Nathaniel Philbrick's 2000 book of the same not read name).

In the heart of the sea hits theaters on March 15, 2015.
